JavaScript/jQuery to animate menus?

    Hi there.

    I have built a great CSS drop menu for this new website. My next challenge is to animate the sub-menu (eg. under Portfolio) so it slides out below nicely. I also wanted to animate the a:hover with a smooth fader effect. As a JS noob I wouldn’t even know where to start here (although I have managed to fade-in the homepage)!

    Any suggestions before I start chasing my tail?
