Javascript stops lightbox

I have a JavaScript that I have recently added to my webpage along with an image. When the JavaScript is not there my image loads and when clicked opens in a lightbox. When the JavaScript is there it stops the image from opening in a lightbox and opens in the same window but on a big white background separate from the webpage.

I am using the this coding for my image:
[style_image width=”” height=”” image=”” align=”” alt=”” url=”” border=”” lightbox=”yes” fade=””]
I have a feeling it may not be working as my JavaScript is a form that also opens in a lightbox therefore it will stop my image lightbox from working?
