Javascript Errors with Media Uploader
-
I hate to add my issues to the already expansive list here, but I’ve followed all the suggestions posted in the sticky thread above, and I’m still having issues.
It’s pretty frustrating because I normally use firefox (where everything is working) and switched to IE to give a demo of a new wordpress install I did for a project at work… and discovered a world of problems.
Here’s the details:
Issue occurs in IE6 and IE7
Issue occurs on multiple wordpress installs, on different domains/server, with a different set of plugins. What happens:
Javascript errors appears as soon as I click any of the buttons for the media uploader. I can upload images fine (although a regular file upload form box appears instead of the nice one that shows up in firefox), but once I upload an image or an audio file, it immediately shows it in the list with the “show” link… but I can’t show it… or insert it … or do anything with it.I’ve re-uploaded all my files, disabled all my plugins, installed the IE fix files, installed the flash disable plugin option and tried the change to the htaccess file. Nada.
I’m kind of at a loss of what else to do. This is just a stock install.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
