    WordPress now has much better translation tools for plugins which you can find here.

    You can download the po file or translate using glotpress, or from the link above.

    Once the translation gets to a threshold of complete, we remove the .mo file from the plugin and it will be served from the plugin directory automatically.

    How can I participate in the translation that I could use your plugin in Italian?

    Just visit the translation page, select Italian and review the Translation Handbook.

    Once the translation hits the threshold we will remove the .mo file from the plugin and it will be downloaded from WordPress.org

    Should be much simpler to keep the translation up-to-date and have multiple members contribute too.

    I’m not 100% sure. the Development Trunk is the latest version of the plugin. Hoping a translation pro can guide us

    Both the stable releases will be correct. The translations will apply to the future release versions.
