Issues installing the PRO version

    I’m trying to install the PRO version of this plugin, but it keeps giving me the Error: REFERENCES command denied to user XXXXXXX for table ‘wp_pimwick_gift_card’. I’ve tried deleting the table in the database, but it gives me the same error. How can I solve this – please help!

    WordPress.org doesn’t allow use of their forums to support Pro plugins.

    With that being said, this error can occur in the free version as well so I am leaving instructions here in case it affects anyone else with the free version.

    This error means that your database user account doesn’t have the correct permissions for creating the gift card tables.

    The way to fix this is to send this error message to your website host and let them know that your account needs the “REFERENCES” privilege, even if it’s just temporary (once the tables are created you no longer need the permission).
