Issue with WP multisite

    Hi All,

    Currently, I have WP multisite on Centos 6 and was trying to migrate my WP multisite to Red Hat 8 but only the homepage came up and not the rest of the main site’s pages and subdirectory sites (error: page can’t be found). I could log into Network Dashboard and the main site’s dashboard, but not the rest of the subdirectory sites.

    Here what I did: copied all folders and files from Centos 6 to Red Hat 8, imported the MySQL database, shutdown Centos 6, and updated Red Hat 8 server with the same domain name and IP address from Centos 6. Restarted httpd and only the homepage came up, but not the rest.

    If you can get to the homepage of the main site but not pages under it, then it’s likely permalinks is not working properly.

    – Have you confirmed mod_rewrite is enabled on the new server?

    – Did you remember to carry over your .htaccess rules? (Depending on how you copied the files, hidden files like .htaccess may not have been copied)

    Yes, rewrite_module (shared) is enabled when I ran httpd -M
    I also copied the .htaccess file over to the new server.
    Still did not work.
