• Hello,

    I’ve noticed a significant delay when making updates to my site and I believe this is caused by Autoptimize. When I try to delete the cache nothing changes, the only way I can successfully flush the cache and force the update is by deactivating and reactivating the plugin.

    Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a better way to handle it?

    Thanks

    OK, some questions;
    * how big is the cache when deleting fails?
    * do you see any errors in the PHP-errorlog or on the browser console?
    * does it fail both when using the “delete cache” in the top menu and when deleting cache from the settings page? or does the one in the menu fail but the “settings”-one works?

    * unfortunately, I do not remember the size from each time it has happened but I do know that each time was different

    *I am not entirely sure if any errors appeared – I tried to run a test again today so I could upload some screenshots but, for some reason, today I did not have the issue

    *the times I did have the issue – it failed when using both

    OK, let’s park this until you encounter the problem again maybe. Regarding the errors; if it also fails on the settings-page then I’m most interested in information from the PHP errorlog on your server.

    have a nice weekend,
