is timthumb good with wordpress ?

    hi every body

    i change my theme and i add timthumb, i like it because it doesn’t let the themes make different sizes of images .. and make the web hosting full of them ..

    i am using it now but i am wondering is it good ? is it safe ? does it affec on seo ?
