    I got a comment “Fantastic article, very in depth. I like the look of those clothes Susie”. Her url is [spam url removed], a Ralph Lauren polo shop. It feels like it might be spam, but she does mention clothes (post is about reconstructing clothing) and sign her name.

    Is this spam?

    I’d consider that spam. A lot of spam posts these days seem almost content relevant and personal……

    Yep the spammers are getting more “relevant” although in almost every case it is still a generalist comment that just happens to vaguely match your entry. Akismet is pretty good at catching them.
