Is this possible with WordPress ??

    Hello Everyone.
    We are about to create our new site with WordPress, we have a few queries as to how can these things be performed.
    Along with the site, we do want to add our admission activity online on this site. We had tried over SharePoint with the help of creating list and then workflow. Can we create some form and store the data, one user adds a student, another user confirms the admission of the student based on some criteria, checks the documents and then proceeds the student data to Accounts where the admission is confirmed. Can we trigger some SMS after the confirmation.
    Is there any plugin or any way that the above things can be done. Can we make roles and users ?? We do also wish to make Students Attendance and marks available online. Is it possible using a WordPress site ??

    there are many school management plugin but most are paid.

    This can be accomplished with a plugin, but I’m not aware of a single plugin that will do all of that.

    Can we make roles and users ??

    There are plugins that do this. Search the plugin repository for “user role editor”.

    We do also wish to make Students Attendance and marks available online.

    Again, this is possible, but you don’t specify whether someone will be entering that data into WordPress manually, or whether you will need to pull it from a database, in which case a plugin will be needed.

    You will probably need professional help with this. You may want to post something about this at jobs.wordpress.com to get some price quotes.

    Moodle will do pretty much everything that you are asking for here out of the box. You should consider using Moodle or a combination of Moodle and WordPress.
