Is this code mailicious?

    Recently, I downloaded a free theme that was looking pretty. When I ran the Theme Authenticity checker plugin, it said that there was a malicious code within the functions.php.
    So, I decoded the base64 code using an online decoder and the decoded result was :–

    Is this safe or harmful?????

    the code is safe
    what it does is kill your site if you modify the footer.php
    Wish folks would not use these crappy themes

    Thank you Samuel for your reply.
    I am not earning a single penny, so I can’t go for premium themes. So, for the time being, I can only go for free themes. If the code is safe, I wish I could use it.

    I know that it is not safe to use these kind of themes, but only for the time being.
