Is there a “current story” plugin?

    For my wordpress site I pretty much throw every story up there with a “more” tag after about the first paragraph so the site doesn’t run on to infinity.

    It would be nice if the current story was full length and then when a new one came out it shortened.

    Is there anything like that out there?
