Yes you can add the EPL – Listing Search Widget or [listing_search] shortcode to any page. The widget even works in page builders that support WordPress widgets.
The widgets and shortcodes provide the same functionality.
They also support different styles as seen here on the demo.
You can use some CSS to tweak the layout as required and the CSS should already match your themes CSS styling.

2. I have a huge nosql database where the listings are stored. Can I modify the “search button” to call an external API and retrieve data from external database ? Did u think if I do this, the “easy property listings” plugin will be useless for me ?
