Is get_custom fields add new query ?

    Hello guys

    I am using function get_post_custom_values many times in my home page to display thumbnails for my posts , my question is (is this function request new query to database ?).
    because I noticed there is many “out of memory errors” appear in my site while I set memory limit to 800M , but error still appear .
