It might have something to do with the Instagram widget from Elementor. I removed it in the wordpress editor, and now my page seems to work. But I need that widget, so if anyone has any leads on what to do, please do tell.
Thanks a lot!

Hi,
This what I see when I go to your page:
https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/image/3233461/9ee18dfa1f4890d2bf59046b995bd1e7
I see you are using OceanWP and different third party plugins like:
https://codecanyon.net/item/jetelements-addon-for-page-builder-elementor/20407053
It is very well possible that after the update of Elementor, some conflict arose with this plugin. I quess you could ask their support to make it compatible with the latest Elementor version.
Until it is resolved, you might want to roll back to the previous Elementor version, so your site is back.

Hi Annie,
Thanks for your response!
My site is currently private, since it’s a company website, and we don’t want anyone to stumble upon it till it’s ready to launch.
I’ve tried the Elementor Instagram widget, as well as the WordPress widget, and none of them seem to work.
Both of them say that they can’t find any photos posted on the username that I’m using.
I’ve tried with several usernames(even @instagram) and nothing works.
I’m not sure how I can go back to the previous version of Elementor, but I’ll go to Google for that π
Thank you so much for your response!

Hi,
Just to test it here, I tried the instagram widget and it also says, it can not find my photo’s. OceanWP has an Instagram extention and this is the documentation:
https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/487-how-to-get-instagram-access-token
Could it be Instragram changed its policy and one can only show it after creating tat access token? I am pretty sure this worked with only adding the instagram account name here too, but it is not now…

I suppose this explains it!
Instagram Graph API Launches and Instagram API Platform Deprecation
Starting today (January 30), we are launching three new features on the Instagram Graph API designed to help businesses better manage their organic presence on Instagram. As part of our API changes, we will also be deprecating the older Instagram API Platform over the next two years beginning on July 31, 2018. Please see the full summary below.

Annie, you’re okay!
Actually a lot greater than okay, thanks for helping me out.
I’ve sent an email to Elementor Support, so they can work on a solution.
THANK YOU!
Have a great day!
You’re welcome!
If possible, please post their solution ( if there is one )here?
I am curious to know what this is.
Thanks and have a great day too!

Hi Emilie,
Thank you for contacting us.
The likely cause of this issue is a theme or a plugin conflict.
Please follow the steps on this link to troubleshoot the issue:
https://docs.elementor.com/article/188-there-are-layout-problems-when-i-edit-with-elementor
Please try this and see if this makes a difference.
Note: If this is happening because of a 3rd party plugin you will need to contact the plugin author to fix that issue. Elementor doesn’t have any Instagram widgets.
If that doesn’t help could you please also send me your latest System Info?
You can find it under Elementor > System Info in your WP Dashboard.
Will try these steps and let you know if it works.
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for posting the reaction of Elementor support.
As I suspected, this is not an Elementor widget to start with, and as I found out googling ( is that even a verb haha ) Instagram itself changed the way it needs to be implemented so I suggest you try to find help in support of this Instagram widget.
I did not try it yet, but as you can see here:
https://coffee.oceanwp.org/blog/
Nicolas ( developer OceanWP theme ) has Instgram working.
I am pretty sure he is using his Instagram extention for it, so you might take a look at that option.https://docs.oceanwp.org/article/487-how-to-get-instagram-access-token
https://oceanwp.org/extension/ocean-instagram/
Hope this helps!
Annie
