I faced a problem with WP postratings. I decided to add stars to certain pages. I used shortcut for this: [ratings id=”1″]. But when I want to give this page some star, it shows the error – Invalid Post ID (#1). What wrong with it? I tested it on page https://efficienttickets.com/tim-mcgraw-tour-tickets/ – you can go there and check it on your own…

Is that a post or a page? Did you put it in the WordPress loop?

My guess is you put the code wrongly in your template? https://codex.wordpress.org/The_Loop

I didn`t put the code at all, I just put the shortcode…Should I insert the code too? If yes, then where is it better to insert the code?

Weird, shortcode should work too. Have you tried on the default theme to see if it works? Is that link you pasted post ID 1?

I figured out the reason, I had to insert [ratings] shortcode instead of [ratings id=”1″], just misunderstood the documentation. Sorry)
