Intro Page Issues

    I added an intro page to my blog named index.html
    It displys well and when clicked on it goes to index.php which is my WordPress blog BUT I also have two pages I created in WordPress called About Me and Contact Me and when I click on those it displays my intro page … same thing happens when I click on the link under my archive

    Did I do something wrong? Please Help
