Interaction with Co-Author Plus plugin

    Co-Author Plus plugin creates multi-authors capability for a single post.

    Also this plugin creates CPT ‘Guest Author’ in order to include some authors without even access to the blog.

    As for me a combination of Co-Author Plus and CPT-onomy looks promising.

    So, I registered CPT ‘Guest Author’ as CPT-onomy and found the corresponding meta menu in a single post edit screen (that was of a check list type in my case). However, all checks were colored in grey and no active (not responding to click).

    Could (and how) this issue be resolved?

    Check your settings. In the “Register this Custom Post Type as a CPT-onomy” section, there’s a setting for “Restrict User’s Capability to Assign Term Relationships”. That should take care of it.
