You should check out OnePress Community It’s a theme that provides full login integration with phpBB. There are also widgets included that will show recents threads, etc.
Check this place out, this plugin is a sinch to install and works like a charm.

According to the OnePress forums, it will no longer support phpbb3 3.0.4 onward. The current onepress (1.0.8) works with wordpress 2.7.1 and phpbb3 3.0.4.
When I checked the wp-phpbb3-bridge site, there is no update that works with wordpress 2.8 and appears to have bugs anyway.
Is there anyone who has solved this?
