Installing on a subdomain?

    Okay, just to break it down and keep it simple, is installing on a subdomain exactly the same as installing on a domain? On a subdomain as in I’m being hosted so I already have a /subname that doesn’t work as subname.domain.com but only as domain.com/subname. For some reason I can’t get it to work and I keep getting error signs 😛

    Can you setup the sub-domain in a cpanel ?

    I have a subdomain with wp that can be accessed as either
    http://www.domain.com/sub
    or
    sub.domain.com
    but when it’s accessed in the first way clicking on any link makes it change to the second way. But the cpanel is handling all that.

    I don’t have access to the cpanel because I’m being hosted so I can only have access to my ftp 🙂

    Yeah I thought so too but somehow when I make it sub.domain.com instead of domain.com/sub it doesn’t work. Only domain.com/sub works..
