No, you’re almost there. For both the form action setting and the e-mail field setting, do not include the quotation marks.
They should be:
form action: http://melissaauclair.us1.list-manage1.com/subscribe/post?u=091f1dddf0ece33549ab6a7a8&id=8a175d0bea
email: EMAIL
Do not include the <input type…> in the e-mail field, simply EMAIL .

and then, to: http://mailchimp.com/about/mcsv/
I just updated to Genesis 2.0. yesterday and I had the Genesis eNews Extended widget installed at that time. When Genesis 2.0 loaded, the Genesis eNews Extended Plug-In was listed in the active Plug-Ins.
The Widget displays fine in the sidebar: http://www.harmonicpod.com

Can you confirm the form action URL? The error is coming from MailChimp and is indicating either that the form action URL isn’t the right one for your account or there is some other issue going on with MailChimp’s end.

now it totally opens in a new window, asking them to fill out everything again? is it supposed to do that? why should ppl have to enter their email twice?
i entered my email into the one above, http://www.harmonicpod.com, and mine doesn’t do that – how can i change it?

2. I entered: EMAIL (all caps) into the email field
Here’s my result: I’m taken to another page to enter my email address as if it’s the first time, instead of my “Thank You/You’ll Be sent an Email to Confirm, etc.” page.
What am I missing Brandon?
