Inserting space between image and text

Hello –

I run a photoblog and updated to WP2 with a couple of issues. I also searched this and found unresolved posts with similar issues but no solutions. This seems like a simple thing, but I cannot get WP to insert a space or blank line between my image and the text below it (no matter what I do).

The current post on my blog is a good example:

I just want more space between the photo and the text below – I used to be able to just hit return in the post box and now it doesn’t work. I also tried other fixes like posting the text first, then the pic, and also disabled the RT editor function.

Any ideas?
