Inserting multiple images – twenty ten

Once I have loaded all my images to the gallery, I want to insert them into my page but it only seems to let me insert one at a time – which is slow especially when I have more than say 20 pictures to add. . Is there a way of selecting certain images and batch inserting rather than individual.
