Inserting Image Into Post

    Trying to insert image into post. Image is uploaded in gallery and can be viewed there. Html for image is inserted into post. I.E. shows an empty box with a red “x”, Google shows 1 line of offset text and no indication of image. This is my first WordPress, so it’s probably something simple I’m doing wrong, but what? I’ve been working on this for 2 days with no luck. Theme is 2010 that downloaded with W.P. installation. Blog is http:www.offgridok.com. Help appreciated. Thank You. Post is “Welcome” post.

    looks like it’s the wrong img location
    http://www.offgridok.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/IMG_2291-300x225.jpg
    is the wrong path…

    if that dont work you can always use the built in image insert on the post page in your dashboard.

    CHeck your hosting site and see if you have hotlinking turned on. Maybe this is preventing the image from showing up.

    Thank You both for your quick replies. My hotlinking was turned off. I would have never found that without your help. Thanks again.
