"Insert Media" not working

    Have tried on both 3.8 and 3.7.1

    Files will appear to upload, then hang at near completion, then finally get “HTTP error.” with no additional information.

    Interestingly, if I log out and log back in I will see the failed uploads thumbnails – they can’t be added to the post though.

    I’ve tried changing file permissions and my .htaccess and experimenting with the upload folder but nothing wants to work so far.

    I seem to recall having this problem in the past but I remember it being an easy fix. Hope I’m not missing anything too obvious here.

    Any advice?
