This is not a known issue, I tested on our development site now as well.
There must be a plugin or the theme conflicting. Can you please deactivate other plugins temporarily and see if it works then? If not, can you temporarily switch the theme and see if that is causing it?

Hmm, it worked fine before updating the plugin. but I did update another plugin at the same time. so there could be a conflict, but something did change. I’ll see what I can figure out.
So I downgraded the other plugin I upgraded and the editor botton for Slideshow Gallery still loads up my entire site (after a long wait). Can you think of anything else? Folder/File permissions?
