Hi! Skyler from the Livefyre team here.

The free Livefyre Comments 3 plugin for WordPress will not support forced SSL without errors at this time. This is a feature request we’ve logged with the development team.

If you’d like to talk to a Livefyre Support representative about more information regarding your blog’s specific setup, feel free to email support[at]livefyre[dot]com in the meantime.

Hope this helps clarify, and apologies for any temporary inconvenience.

    Skyler

Looking forward to see a livefyre plugin working with SSL! I do like very much Livefyre but unfortunately if there is no way to make it support SSL I won’t be able to use it. I will have to go back to the default comment system of my theme. I guess I will be able to migrate the comments once LF will suport it.

    Hi,

having similar issue, please get this fixed quickly

Hello. Thanks for the followups here.

This issue has been solved for the free Livefyre Comments solution we offer for WordPress. However, the latest version of comments now lives in the “Livefyre Apps” plugin available here:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/livefyre-apps/

^this plugin contains all free Livefyre options, though Comments can still be used alone with it. The Livefyre Apps plugin allows Livefyre to keep all of its options in one place rather than continuing to release multiple plugins over time. It’s recommended that blogs switch to the free Livefyre Apps plugin moving forward.

The messaging on our older, standalone Livefyre Comments plugin will eventually be updated to reflect this change and notify plugin users.

Hope this helps clarify. If not, additional information and FAQs can be found on the Livefyre Apps plugin page, or the Support team can always be contacted directly for in-depth questions relating to a specific setup via support[at]livefyre[dot]com

    Thanks again!
