I have a multisite with several sub-networks powered by WP Multi Network. For Redis Object Cache (ROC), it seems like I have to network activate, so I have been doing so, but with several sub networks, I have recently encountered crashes multiple times. I guess there is only one Key Prefix that is used for multiple networks.

I now have deactivated ROC from all sub networks, and only run it at the super admin’s network, just to avoid any further crashes.

I thought this is enough, given that ROC plugin does not actually run Redis cache, but helps WP users to control it. As long as the central network runs ROC plugin and Redis cache is activated to WP. Is this safe assumption? Should I do anything else to make ROC to run for all subsites in every sub-network?

Sorted out the problem. It wasn’t so much about ROC’s problem, as it is embedded in WP Multi Network.

Redis Object Cache is network-wide activated, it’s all or nothing with object caching unfortunately.
