    Hi,

I was using SVG Support by Benbodhi to enable SVG support on my site but, after activating your plugin I have found that I can no longer load SVG files. I get an error message saying the file “cannot upload due to security reasons”.

If I disable your plugin, I can, once again, unload SVG files.

    Any ideas?

I found the solution here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/svg-animation-not-working-in-wordpress-how-to-troubleshoot/page/2/

The uploads tab has a set of permitted types and activating SVG there worked, and allowed me to remove SVG Support.

Thanks for your question and for your work to find a solution before I could respond.

The combination of SVG Support and MLA has come up in earlier topics:

    SVG Uploads

Disabling MLA’s support as suggested in the topic you found is one solution. It looks like you found the other solution; adding SVG support to MLA’s settings by following the instructions in this earlier topic:

    Cannot upload SVG files

The MLA alternative lets you retain the other features of MLA uploads support. I will leave this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding SVG support in MLA. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
