• I would have loved to continue using Polylang, but its complete incompatibility with Divi 5 forces me to turn to a working solution (WPML).

It was already complicated to use it under Divi 4 (with a workaround in a modified wpml-config.xml file in my child theme), but now that this workaround no longer works, it’s impossible to keep this plugin with the new version of Divi :(.

It would have been really great if the development team had worked on making the plugin fully compatible.

Fingers crossed that this will finally happen 🤞🏻

  • Polylang free gives very little problems with Divi 4, almost zero I would say, and I kept using it on several website for long time; now with Divi 5 it still works nicely except it has a one big problem with the Loop Builder. The issue is not for blog post but with projects, it swaps or remove the featured image of the looped projects… it’s not clear who’s causing it but after trying too migrate from Divi 4 to 5 in several website I had to revert back to Divi 4… this last try was almost rewarding, all was good until i tried the project loop builder… I don’t like wpml, too much automation plus the price of it… I think ET support is overwhelmed of messages, hopefully someone will find a solution…
