Importing Error

Hi,
I’m trying to move all of the posts, pages, etc from and existing WordPress installation to another WordPress installation. I used the export facility in the WordPress admin tools panel. It created a 96kb file.
I then went to the new WordPress site and used the import function in wp-admin tools to import the file that the export function had created on my computer.

I got the following error message:
Fatal error – excecution time exceeded 30 seconds in line 69

The account that is hosting the new wordpress site is a second tier reseller account using fast computers and high throughput so I wouldn’t think that that was the source of the problem but I’m not sure. What is the problem and how do I correct it?

The second thing I was wondering is that the WordPress site I am exporting from contains 231 posts, 6 pages, 651 comments, etc. A 96 kb file seems a little small to contain all of that info. Is it or is the file that was exported the normal size fpr a WordPress installation of this size. Thanks in advance for your help.
