• I’m having trouble exporting the posts in an existing database (written with Article Manager), into a new WordPress installation.

From MySQLadmin I’ve exported an SQL.gz file from the original ‘Article Manager’ database – and, having installed WordPress have imported the aforementioned SQL file into the new WP database… I can now see x4 db_tables listed amongst the wp_tables in the MySQL index.

Trouble is I don’t understand how I get the Article Manager table (with its archive of posts) – to be seen by WordPress (either collated within MySQL or from the WordPress Dashboard)?

Do I need to somehow re-name the table to correspond with the table: wp_posts?

Do I need to import the article manager content in some other format via Dashboard Tools – and if so, with what Importer Plugin?

Hope I’m not barking up the wrong tree…
