import not importing all products

This is happening in two totally different websites with totally different square stores. Both stores are in the build phase and this is the number one hold back to launch. I have gone through all the suggested options to get this to work and after two weeks of fighting with it. I give up! I have deleted the plug ins and all products. Reinstall and relink and still this is an issue. Checked every single SKU, called bluehost support the problem is not on their end. I have tested the background process, it works just fine. I have used the tools to remove all varient etc…. I even came across an article about woocommerce pro stating that products cannot have any special characters in the name, description or options… I have no idea if that is a thing that we are never told. That would seem pretty important to know that a product in square cannot have a certain character! So I changed them all…still not importing. I am so frustrated at this point that I have no clue what to do.

The items that do import some work and some give me the sync errors of missing sku.

Am I understanding correctly that you’ve set Square as the system of record, and are attempting to import products from Square to your WooCommerce store?

Can you please reconfirm that you’ve followed the instructions in the Square Documentation to set up the extension?

I’m asking because the error you stated reports that SKUs are missing. It is important because only products with SKU will be synced: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-square/#section-22

you are correct. I have followed all instructions. There are no missing SKUs it just says that. I am going in by hand on every single product because I just cannot get this to work right.

That’s odd. In order to further investigate, can you please get back to us with your system Status Report?

You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Along with that, please also share the part of the Square log where you’re seeing the SKU error.

As for the errors. I see them in woo-settings-update here is an example: It is almost every product in my list! I have 68 products and this list is 49 of them.

Now this data is on yet another temporary site. (same square account) which I unhooked from the main website. I had Bluehost give me a clean slate to see if it was something buggered up on my end. Same issues. Some of it was variable products. No matter what I did I had to go in manually and enter all variable data by hand, sku, price, attributes, etc. Some items got duplicated adding to the chaos and confusion. I have used the new clean site to clean up the entire product list. I have exported it and import it into the site that is almost finished being built. once that is complete I will attempt to sync once again. If it fails this time…my computer will be sitting in the middle of the cotton fields.
