import error

    I have a new install of w.92 running under XP Pro SP3
    I appear to have successfuly exported a blog hosted on WordPress.com
    Hoiwever when I try to import it into the local hosted intallation I get the following error:

    If you have posts or comments in another system, WordPress can import those into this blog. To get started, choose a system to import from below:

    Warning: require_once(/home/fhlinux163/m/molly-may.com/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-includes/class-IXR.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/fhlinux163/m/molly-may.com/user/htdocs/wordpress/wp-admin/import/livejournal.php on line 11

    I find many instances of this error when I google it but they are all just log entries.

    Can anybody provide a fix or at least an explanation..

    Hi,

    check with these options:

    -> Disable all the plugins
    -> Upgrade your wordpress to the latest version, If it is upgraded then install wp-admin and wo-includes directory again with all files and folders.

    I’m new to WordPress.
    I have the latest version [2.9.2]
    When you say install again do you mean delete the folders from the server and upload again? Or is there something else necessary?
