Images in posts turning grey

    two odd things are happening – when I post at the backend the normal template for laying out text and images isn’t there – just something called text and visual but no normal text editing icons.

    and when I post something and click on the front end the image turns gray after appearing for a moment. Any clues to another wordpress mystery?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
