Images in excerpt

Hey guys, pretty new to WP but get the general idea. I’ve been fooling around with it for a little while and was looking to have images automatically post in the excerpt.

Right now I’m only able to switch to the HTML view and select the img tag then place it in the excerpt area. It’s sort of cumbersome right now and the site is about to pick up with literally a couple dozen posts a day, if not more.

I’d like to try and see if there’s a plug-in that works for 2.8.5 or if anyone knows how to do this on the back-end somehow.

The site is http://www.showbiz60.com. Right now because of the pain in the butt it is, the last couple posts haven’t used pictures.
