Images and thumbnails

    Using the standard uploader to insert images into posts problem is I want a thumbnail when clicked on to show a much bigger version of the image when it loads in Lightbox 2.0. The idea behind it is a book cover and clicking the image brings up a bigger version so you can actually read it.

    However the image size is limited by WP to 448 x 336 I did try to download a plug in called NextGen but it simply freezes on the downloading section and installing it manually creates a 500 internal server error. So I’m stuck and not sure what I can do, can anyone help?

    This is what I have so far clicking an image loads a LightBox preview window:

    I can change the size of the thumbnail if I mess with the HTML but the resulting image stays exactly the same. I want to be able to have a bigger image linked in from a smaller thumbnail the idea being you can read each page one by one within the browser.
