    I am trying to upload an image to the footer of my blog. It’s my first time loading an image period. Anyway, I uploaded image to Media library. I used a code generator and pasted code into text widget in footer. Image shows up, but code also shows up beneath it in site view. How do I get rid of visible code? Also, how do I add a link to the image? I’d like them to be able to click the image and it take them to my disclosure page.

    I don’t know of another way. I wish I did, because I just went thru and changed the coding on every single post on my site because I found a better way to display my image. It is time consuming, but well worth it.

    The more I code, the more I learn, and the better my site becomes.

    I deactivated my image formatter plugin and that seemed to do the trick.
