image with writable fields?

I am working on a site that will offer online courses. The site can be viewed here. I want to add a certificate of completion to each course. I have played around with pdf’s, but I hope to avoid having the user follow a link to an external pdf file or for them to have to download a pdf. Ideally, I want them, once having completed the course, to be taken to a page with an inline certificate of completion template/image and a fillable field where they can simply add their name to the certificate and print. Is there a simpler way to accomplish this? No downloads, no links..just type in their name and print the certificate. Any advice?
