Image upload issue

    Everytime i try to upload an image(both flash and basic uploader) it kind of fails. It uploads the image well and creates a thumbnail on the ftp. But after uploading the image and wordpress wants me to add a title and i description, i can’t see the thumbnail, and when i add the image to a post or look it up in the galleri it just shows a blank image with e red cross. I can download both the working thumbnail and the original photo from the ftp afterwards.

    Facts:
    Tried uploading images down to 200×200 pixel, 41 kb
    No active plugins except akismet
    Theme: Lunated

    UPDATE:
    I located the error. For some reason, wordpress uploads my files to /wp-content/
    BUT, wordpress thinks the files are located in /wp-content/uploads/
    how do i correct this?

    change the path in settings again. is this a new blog or do you need the old images still … if so use the path you need and have always used.
