    hello everyone,

    I’m coming across an issue when attempting to upload an image in a post.
    The following error message appears:

    It’s not possible to create dir /home/mhd-01/htdocs/wp-content/uploads/2009/06…

    What does it mean??

    Is this the first time you’re attempting to upload an image? If so, you might have to change permissions of the wp-content folder to 0755.

    already done. Nothing happens…
    Could it be a path issue? What should be the correct path?

    It’s not a path problem but a permissions one. Try 766. If you still have problems, try 767 or 777 as a last resort.

    Do you have the same permissions set on the “uploads” folder?

    Hi,

    Check with these:

    – Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-contents folder of your blog..
    – Check the upload settings from wordpress admin area -> settings -> miscellaneous settings..it should be wp-contents/uploads rather then wp-contents/uploads/ [DO NOT REQUIRE BACK SLASH] folder..
