    Hey,

Upon importing products / content from the previous website running prestashop to WordPress, I get this error for all products: Can’t copy XXXXX.jpg to XXXX.jpg : Failure when receiving data from the peer. Do you have any idea why this could be happening?

The products and their information import fine, just not the images.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

  • Hi, I’m developing a site and the old site was a prestashop. I’ve made everything you said and it imports all the products, categories… but no image. Well it download an image but the it has a interrogant marc (?) in the image. The images are downloaded but with no image instead it shows the “?”.

also if i try to import again, (deleting all) i get this:

    [fgp2wc] Can’t copy http://********.jpg to *********.jpg : Not Found

How can i solve this issue?

Which version of PrestaShop do you have?

Just to inform you that I have reproduced this bug. It happens on some images (not all) on PrestaShop 1.4. It will be fixed in the next release, probably tomorrow.

    Hey,

Thanks for the update however, despite not getting the errors anymore – the images still aren’t being imported / assigned as featured images.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

Did you enter the right URL in the URL field? It must be the home page of your PrestaShop site.

Yeah URL is as it should be, everything imports flawlessly – it’s just the images which aren’t liking it.

@fraserc6: could you send me more details through the contact form?

    @fraserc6

i think its because you use force ssl. i had the same issue! just use http instead of https and the image import works!

and please disable maintenance mode in prestashop

    Thanks for your replies.

Unfortunately I’m not forcing ssl, so still receiving the problem!
Will fill out the form, cheers Kerfred.
