I’m a WordPress Idiot…..

I’m using a new theme called Giraffe2. I like the way I can customize it, but my inserted links and pictures are looking “strange” in posts in both Firefox and Internet Explorer.

When I insert a picture, I used the HTML to do the following:

align=right OR align=left
hspace=10

The picture aligns, but the space is zero. The text is pushed right next to the picture.

I tried to contact the author to no avail. I like this theme a lot, but if I can’t figure this out I’m going back to my old one.

Someone suggested I pad the images and gave me a link to the codex. That didn’t work. There’s something in the stylesheet about “parent/child.” Could this possibly be the reason?
