i3theme Column Removal

For anyone familiar with the i3theme, i’d like to know a way of being able to remove the right-hand column completely and then moving the search module across so its above the main content area.

Would anyone know how to do this? Apologise, i’m new to wordpress and like this theme, but need minors tweaking (if its minor?!)
