• I recently transferred by blog from blogger to WordPress, but apparently there is a difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org. The main reason I transferred is all the hype about how good WordPress is for SEO, but much to my dismay I do not even have a plug-ins option on my dashboard, how do I fix this?

  • I’m guessing that you’re started a WordPress.COM blog? If so, they don’t allow plugins.

    As bad as it might sound, there is also a diffence between WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG:

    But don’t worry, it’s a very common missunderstanding.

    Are you sure you are using WordPress.org? If so, you must have purchased a domain and hosting service, and download/install WordPress from WordPress.org into your hosting account. Then, once you enter your dashboard from http://domaon.com/admin, you can need to offer your user name and password. Then, you can find the Plugin option on the left hand column.

    If you are not in the procedure, then it means you are not using the WordPress.org,
