did you logout and re-login as the other user by chance?
I suggest logging out, clearing your cookies, closing your browser, opening your browser, logging in, and seeing what that does.
Just a suggestion to see what happens.

i tried everything u suggested and pretty much cleared EVERYTHING. still no good….

Have you checked the user accounts that have been set up? You might have more than one perhaps?

yes thats my site and i have no problem logging in just that when i go to post a blog post, its crediting it to someone else in the authors list.
i do have two names but i created the 2nd name ( a little while ago) so i could post. But for example, i go to log in and it succesfully does, i know this because at the top admin bar is says welcome somdow. i have ALL admin rights to do as i admin-fully please lol. after that, like i said b4, i can do what ever i like EXCEPT post under my name….rather, like i said b4, its not that i cant post but that its giving credit to someone else…
in order for the credit to go to me, i write the post and then at the bottom i give credit to my other newly created name…..
any ideas???

If you are using two names, I can only suggest perhaps using one as your admin for the site and changing one name so that it does no have admin rights but just subscriber rights.
