• WordPress HTTPS (SSL) Version 3.3.6
Conflict with WP Super Cache Version 1.3.2

The HTTPS plugin is set to redirect users to HTTP if a page is not secure, but this does not work after Super Cache starts caching pages.

We have a site that uses both plugins on WP 3.5.1 that works just fine, and one that does not redirect if a page is not specified as secure. They have the same configuration in WP Super Cache, but the non-working setup has domain mapping for sharethis.com and gravatar.com in the HTTPS settings.

Any idea where the failure lies? We aren’t sure which plugin is the problem and so have posted on both in an attempt to figure it out.

Caching plugins serve HTML files and the WordPress core (including plugins) is never run. There is no fix for this outside of creating rewrite rules in your .htaccess file to control if a page is forced to/from HTTPS.
