• I am using WordPress 2.9.2 and I have had troubles loading a normal .jpeg file.

On this particular image it causes an “HTTP” error just as it starts to crunch the image. Others seem to load up fine.

I have done some research and yet nothing seems to work. Any ideas much appreciated.

  • Try re-saving the image in a graphics application first.

    Hi Esmi,

Not entirely sure what you mean there but am just trying to upload some more images and again I am getting this HTTP Error while uploading using the flash uploader. Switching to the Browser loader isn’t helping either.

Any other ideas. I thought uploading images would be simple….

James, seems there are a few of us out there that just can’t find a solution, despite all the threads offering help.

links to two help threads (though they didn’t help me) in my post on the same issue.

    good luck

Thanks guys, will have a look at this, found a link to a youtube video but it was out of date. Suggesting a plug in (HTTP error plug in) – this did actually get my photos uploaded but i couldn’t do anything with them after that i.e. make them a thumbnail – they all stated the dimensions as 0*0 and that was that!

Thank you for the link Esmi, I will take a look.

    Best wishes.

I’m pretty sure it addresses the zero image dimensions problem.
