i had the plroblem too but after a few minutes it went away … without doing any change… don’t know why… :/

I can’t seem to login with filezila to change those settings?
That was the best option i could recommend you. You have to access your files/folders to make those changes. Thanks!

To rule out any funny business, can you try replicating the problem with all plugins deactivated?
deactivated all plugins and still getting HTTP error.

And if you switch to the Twenty Fifteen theme with all plugins deactivated, the issue goes away?
yip, just swtiched theme with all plugins deactivated, and now I can upload

As the support for this theme is very popular, I’m sure contributors will be able to help you in enough time. If you need urgent support though, it might be better to switch to a theme that works. You can always switch back afterwards.
