HTTP Error when uploading images | WordPress.org

Several of my users are complaining that they are no longer to upload images (.jpg) in articles. The problem is very sporadic, does not depend on user level, any suggestions would be welcomed. Only started since last Thursday.

How are you fixed for disk space and memory?

Over 15 GB of storage free, memory over 300MB

Usually, upload failures are based on a failure creating the derivative images (thumbnail, etc) due to memory issues or lack of space in the /tmp partition.

We’ve got plenty of space and it was working perfectly up to last week for 7 years!

Please do a df -h and check the space on the /tmp partition, if there is one.
